Clifford M. James, President & Chief Executive Officer Mr. Clifford M. James, President and CEO of TVI Pacific Inc., is a geologist and business executive with over 35 years of technical and financial experience in the natural resource sector. His work has taken him throughout North America, Africa and Asia where he has held senior positions in both oil and gas and mining companies. Since 1993, Mr. James has spearheaded TVI’s activities in the Philippines and he is responsible for bringing on stream the Canatuan project, the first foreign funded, modern, full-scale producing mine in the Philippines since the passage of the Mining Act in 1995. His tireless efforts continue to drive TVI’s commitment to transparent, environmentally responsible mining practices that bring sustainable development to the company's host communities.
Queenie Lung, Chief Financial Officer Ms. Lung, previously Controller of the Company, has been employed with TVI since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Ms. Lung was previously a member of the management team of a large international accounting firm where she developed a strong financial reporting and corporate governance background.
Rhonda Bennetto, Exec. Dir. Investor Communications Ms. Bennetto joined TVI in 2009 and is responsible for all aspects of corporate communications including the strategic direction of the investor relations program, corporate communications and regulatory activities. Building from experience in strategic planning, she has effectively designed and coordinated investor relations programs, industry and media relations, investor products, presentations and special events for numerous publicly traded companies in the mining and energy sectors. Rhonda has over 15 years combined investor relations, communications and corporate secretarial experience, is the President of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) Alberta Chapter and a board member for CIRI National. Ms Bennetto holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Eugene T. Mateo, BBA, MBA, LLB, LLM , President, TVI Resource Development (Phils.) Inc. Mr. Mateo is a Lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant with 40 years of experience as Senior Finance and Management Executive in various companies and joined TVIRD as Vice President for Finance and Administration in 1995 progressing to his current position of President. In 2001, he became Chairman of the Accounting Licensure and Regulatory Board. Mr. Mateo brings to TVIRD his long years of experience in finance, tax, law and management.
John B. Ridsdel, BA (Hons), MSc. Econ, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ridsdel brings to TVIRD nearly three decades of experience in resource industry management, of which 18 years were in an international setting. Prior to his appointment with TVIRD, John served as Country Manager for Petro-Canada in Algeria, Myanmar and Pakistan and was also Business Manager for Petro-Canada International with responsibility for Technical Assistance Programs in Thailand, Philippines and China. He holds degrees in Political Science from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom, and from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Yulo Perez, Vice President for Philippine Operations Mr. Perez joined TVIRD in 2004 and has 30 years of mining experience in copper, iron, gold and lateritic nickel. Before joining TVIRD, Yulo had more than 13 years of overseas experience as mine manager of INCO’s Indonesian laterite nickel and a brief stint with BHP Iron ore in Western Australia. He acquired his degree in Mining Engineering at the University of the Philippines.
Luis Jovito A. Santos Jr., Vice President for Finance Mr. Santos is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 18 years of experience in financial management, control, asset protection, and treasury management. Luis holds financial responsibility for TVI Pacific's subsidiaries in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree (with honors) at San Beda College (Manila) in 1991 and achieved the third highest overall rating in the CPA National Licensure Examinations in the same year.
Robert Jay Nelson, Vice President for Environment and Civil Works Mr. Nelson is a Civil Engineer by training with over 30 years experience in the field of consulting engineering. For the past 20 years he has been working within Asia and has been a resident in the Philippines since 1994. Prior to moving to the Philippines, Mr Nelson spent 4 years in Guam working on a variety of engineering projects within Micronesia, the Western Pacific. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and is a registered civil engineer in the US.
Rene de Ocampo, Vice President for Human Resources Mr. de Ocampo has overall responsibility for the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures for TVIRD. Rene brings with him more than 19 years of experience in the field of Human Resources management with expertise in Organizational Development, Employee Relations and Compensation and Benefits Administration.
Renne P. Subido, Vice President for Corporate Social Commitments Mr. Subido is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of professional experience working in both private and government sectors in the area of management, enterprise development, trade and investment promotion, business support organizations, agribusiness and banking. Before joining TVIRD, he worked as the Deputy Program Manager for Business Growth Division for the USAID’s GEM 3 Program, a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project in collaboration with the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).
